Who is EP-CAT?

We are a team of people who believe a better future can be shaped with our own hands—as well as our hearts, minds and feet.

Utilizing asset-based community development principles, EP-CAT empowers the community to take responsibility and action.  Our method is to build partnerships that develop resources in the community.  We then connect residents to resources and opportunities by organizing, leading and supporting the community to achieve its goals.  These goals impact the involvement, economic development, education, housing and well being of individuals and families in our community.

To achieve progress in these areas, EP-CAT initiates projects, promotes communication across the community and develops effective working relationships among neighbors— regardless of age, race, faith and ethnicity.

EP-CAT is a community-based not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization that is based in a southern suburb of metropolitan Atlanta, GA. Funding is provided by individuals, foundations, government and United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta.
